Community Credit Union of Florida Gen Z Campaign and 321 Financial Liftoff event series

BACKGROUND 

Recent studies have shown a gap in financial education. To address this, the 321 Financial Liftoff program is designed to provide students with practical tips, accessible resources, and easy-to-understand steps to begin their journey to financial freedom. The program equips younger customers with the tools they need for independent financial success. To amplify its impact, Fly Forward was hired to create a relatable, inspirational Gen Z campaign, providing Community Credit Union a platform to engage and educate students on financial independence from an early age.

EXECUTION

  • As the first phase of execution, we curated and produced a Gen Z content photoshoot that unified campaign tone across CCU’s social channels, website, and print advertisement.

  • To unify the campaign tone, we created a cohesive suite featuring a new 321 Liftoff logo, a presentation box, an informational passport, a t-shirt, and a sticker design.

  • Produce four 321 Liftoff events at local high schools and colleges.  

RESULTS

  • 2200 students, key influencers, and media received 321 Liftoff branded assets

  • Five 321 Liftoff events were executed at three high schools and two colleges.

  • The campaign also secured media coverage from the following outlets: Florida Today, Home Town News Brevard, CU Today, and American Banker.
