Curate Your Mude Influencer Event:

BACKGROUND:

Mude is a functional, brewed beverage made from all-natural, plant-based ingredients. The product line includes Work, Play, Chill, and Sleep, addressing rising consumer interest in immune support and mood enhancement. The Irish carbon-neutral company hired Fly Forward Agency to design and execute a distinctive eco-conscious influencer event to launch in the United States. Fly Forward was engaged to spark word of mouth, drive awareness of Mude’s US debut, generate media and influencer coverage, and capture rich content (photos and video).

EXECUTION

  • Develop a curated, innovative Covid-safe event to introduce Mude products to select influencers, media, and potential partners, highlighting the brand’s commitment to a vibrant, eco-friendly lifestyle.

  • Present the Mude product lineup in a welcoming setting to engage guests’ curiosity and motivate them to share their experiences on social media.

  • Design and execute an eco-friendly experience that reflects Mude’s commitment to sustainability and a plant-based lifestyle.

  • Create Invitation: Inspired by Mude’s tagline “Powered by people, plants, and purpose”

  • Include an invitation printed with soy ink on seed paper, a recycled cork flower pot, an organic soil disc, and a Mude-engraved bamboo plant marker, all packed in a sustainable box with recycled filler. The invite kit provides everything guests need to plant their wildflower seed invitation with zero waste.

  • Scout and select a historic industrial building to transform into a lush space brimming with greenery and photogenic settings.

  • Curate a three-course plant-based menu that delivers both taste and presentation.  

  • Create custom eco-friendly branding materials to reflect Mude’s personality and showcase its functional products (Sleep, Play, and Chill).

  • Finish the night with a local singer performing for guests as they enjoy dessert and sip their after-dinner drinks.

  • Create a unique takeaway gift to showcase the functionality of Sleep product.

  • The Sleep gift features a Sleep can, a silk sleep mask, and organic skin care products, all in a natural fiber gift bag.

RESULTS

  • A diverse mix of relevant/on-brand attendees: 20 Central Florida micro guests with a combined total of 276,000 Instagram followers

  • 20% increase in week-over-week engagement on the @mudedrinks Instagram handle

  • Due to the success of Curate Your Mude in Orlando Mude has plans to execute this concept in additional target cities in 2021-2022
